Poetry Pocket Terms of Use

Welcome to Poetry Pocket!

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Poetry Pocket mobile application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access or use the App.

1. Content and Functionality

Poetry Pocket provides a platform for users to discover, read, and potentially write poetry (subject to future updates). The App collects no personal data from users.

The App offers a free version with basic features.  A subscription option (monthly and yearly) unlocks additional features within the App.

2. Subscriptions

The App offers optional monthly and yearly subscriptions that unlock additional features. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and auto-renewal by going to your account settings on your device.

3. User Generated Content (Future Implementation)

These terms anticipate a future update where users can submit content. If implemented, you are solely responsible for any content you submit, post, or upload to the App ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content and grant the rights described in these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property

The App and all its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not modify, publish, distribute, transmit, reverse engineer, create derivative works of, or exploit in any way the App or its content without the express written permission of Poetry Pocket.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Poetry Pocket disclaims all warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Poetry Pocket does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free.

6. Limitation of Liability

Poetry Pocket shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. Termination

Poetry Pocket may terminate your access to the App for any reason, at any time, without notice.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert your country/state], without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Poetry Pocket regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings.

10. Changes to the Terms

Poetry Pocket reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on the App. Your continued use of the App after the posting of the revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
